Steve and Oscar delve into the mysterious demise of a small town's entire population. Their investigation leads them to a vengeful scientist, previously engaged with the government, who seeks retribution for past injustices. He issues an ultimatum: pay him $10 million or face further devastation. With time running out, Steve races against the clock to track down the scientist and prevent another tragedy from unfolding.
