Nick encounters his most difficult challenge as he and Hank delve into a case that intertwines a religious phenomenon with the sinister activities of the Wesen Council. At the same time, Rosalee finds herself conflicted as Nick's investigation puts her loyalty to her Wesen roots to the test. Meanwhile, Captain Renard departs the city to address some personal "family matters."
