Following a string of vicious and fatal assaults, Nick and Hank stumble upon an unexpected clue at a nearby nursing home. At the same time, Eve seeks out Adalind in hopes of uncovering insights that only a Hexenbiest can offer. In another part of town, Capt. Renard approaches Nick to discuss the enigmatic symbols and attempts to negotiate a deal with him.
