S01E05 At last a confession! The god of love has descended

Confined in a room with Teshima by the god of love—though it might have been the manager or even a salesperson—Hotaru musters the bravery to reveal her feelings for him. Despite her rival's relentless efforts, she feels empowered after taking this significant step, vowing to no longer be a himono-onna, or 'dried fish woman.' Meanwhile, the manager appears to have lost his wife for good, adding to the complexities of their intertwined lives.
