However, when she informs Dodie that she won’t be decorating the Christmas tree with her, it raises questions about whether she is forsaking Christmas for her Jewish roots. In a parallel storyline, Carl reveals to Hoodsey that Santa Claus isn't real, prompting Hoodsey to embark on a mission to disprove him by asking Santa for his ultimate wish: a reunion with Carl and Ginger’s father.
