The girls look into the mysterious vanishing of the Honeybees, the champions of California State Cheerleading. Their quest leads them to face off against some rather dangerous cheerleading robots, prompting them to create their own performance as the "WHOOP-ettes." Meanwhile, in a secondary storyline, Mandy competes fiercely with Sam for the title in the Spelling Bee.
