S01E01 The Last One

An orb is thrown to the ground, where it morphs to blend into its surroundings: first becoming a rock, then covered in moss, and finally taking the form of a dying wolf. The wolf makes its way back to its last surviving kin, a young boy who lives alone in a tiny house amidst the snowy landscape.
