In December 2002, Nimpha Ong and Ahmed Al-Haddad, who were living in the Bayswater apartment of 92-year-old Bridget 'Bridie' Skehan, a once-prominent socialite, committed a horrific crime. They violently attacked her in a brutal effort to seize her wealth. Days later, her remains were discovered hidden in a cardboard box inside a shed at the property. Upon their arrest, both suspects attempted to shift blame onto one another. Ultimately, they were found guilty of Bridie’s murder and sentenced to life in prison.
