Bat is brought in by John Conant to investigate whether his daughter’s fiancé is cheating at cards. As Bat digs deeper, he uncovers that the dishonest card player is actually a formidable cattle baron with dangerous intentions. Realizing that his life is at stake, Bat soon finds himself targeted for elimination to ensure that his findings remain secret.
