Driven by intoxication and a fixation on harming Peter and Laust, Didrich confides in Peter about a hidden truth involving Laust and Inge. Determined to reconcile, Peter sets out to find Laust. Meanwhile, Johan receives a chilling warning about the looming dangers and fervently attempts to avert the ensuing chaos. Despite suffering significant losses, Copenhagen insists that the Danish army must continue its fight.
