Launchpad and Dewey encounter Jim Starling, the original star of Darkwing Duck, only to discover Scrooge's plans for a darker reboot of the beloved series featuring a different lead. Both Launchpad and Jim vehemently oppose this new direction, feeling it strays too far from the spirit of the iconic hero they cherish.
