Their initial focus is on her husband, especially after they find out he waited eleven minutes before making a second attempt to call 911. As they dig deeper, they uncover his involvement in a proposed Indian casino project. Their investigation takes a turn when they learn that the person Paula was scheduled to meet that evening had connections to local politician Peter Bellingham, who is also linked to Kendall's husband.
