On May 11, 1996, just ten minutes after departure, ValuJet Flight 592 tragically plummets into the Florida Everglades, resulting in the deaths of all 110 individuals aboard. The disaster was caused by a fire that ignited in-flight, initiated by the accidental activation of a chemical oxygen generator that had been incorrectly packed as cargo.
