After failing to win Lance back, Angela seeks Dan's help to oversee her winery and recruit a new spa manager. To Angela's dismay, Dan chooses Melissa for the spa position, who then transforms it into a thriving nightclub at Del Oro. Meanwhile, Richard secures Eric's Nevada property and envisions developing a town named Channing. Although Maggie decides not to pursue legal action against Melissa, she finds herself increasingly tormented by Nicole, prompting Angela to step in to defend her.
