In Edo-era Japan, Rin, the daughter of a martial arts master, sets out to avenge her parents' brutal murder. She hires Manji, an immortal swordsman known as the Slayer of Hundreds, to protect her on her perilous quest. Their target: Kagehisa Anotsu, the ruthless leader of the Ittou-ryu and the man she blames for her loss.
