Marcus Wareing's Tales from a Kitchen Garden (2022)

S01E01 Pigs

Title: Pigs Plot: Marcus Wareing enjoys a more tranquil lifestyle at his smallholding in Sussex. Eager to diversify his produce and introduce new livestock, he begins by selecting pigs, aiming for those that yield the finest meat. His journey takes him to North Yorkshire, where he encounters the rare Mangalitza breed, known for their rich flavor and lively nature. Meanwhile, Marcus navigates the everyday tasks of smallholding life—preserving rhubarb to share with the community during a local gathering, harvesting apples for their sweet juice, and preparing a nostalgic meal inspired by cherished family recipes from his youth.
