Mayor Stoner refuses to fund the Mayberry Marching Band’s trip to their yearly competition in Raleigh, convinced they lack talent. To support the band, Andy steps in and arranges for some of his acquaintances from "Freddy Fleet And His Band With A Beat" to lend their expertise.
