An Indiana town finds itself at the center of a violent standoff when police respond to a kidnapping that spirals into murder. With a hostage's life hanging in the balance, officers move in to end the siege. Meanwhile, off the coast of Florida, a deputy's routine patrol turns urgent as they spot a vessel drifting out of control—its lone occupant unconscious and helpless. Racing against time and the open water, the rescue becomes a desperate fight to reach the man before the boat carries him beyond reach.
