Once a landslide begins, there is no stopping it. This episode looks back at three catastrophic slides from recent history. In California, relentless rain turned scorched, fire-ravaged slopes into rivers of mud. In Venezuela, a chain of landslides obliterated a 100-kilometer stretch of coastline. And in the tiny Welsh mining town of Aberfan, a single collapse entombed a primary school, claiming the lives of the children inside.
