S02E08 One Million Miracles

The Black Knights begin to doubt Lelouch’s motives, while the Britannian military remains suspicious of his plans. During a private meeting with Suzaku, Gino, Anya, Lloyd, Cécile, and Miss Romeyer, Zero offers to surrender one million participants in exchange for his own exile from Area 11. Believing he is abandoning his followers to save himself, the Britannians accept the deal. At the opening ceremony, Zero asks Suzaku what it truly means to be Japanese. Suzaku answers that it’s a shared spirit. When every Eleven appears dressed as Zero simultaneously, Suzaku is forced to banish all one million impostors, unwilling to ignite another bloodbath in the face of their silent, peaceful defiance.
