When a fit and charismatic firefighter unexpectedly passes away at Hope Zion Hospital, Alex is called to testify during the Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) Rounds to uncover the cause and assign responsibility. At the same time, Charlie supports a jittery woman who dreams of becoming a nun, while Joel faces the challenge of determining whether he can step up for Sonja in her time of need.
